THE S.A.C.C.R.A. LOBBY

The S.A.C.C.R.A. lobby is for free and fair access to responsible use of the Cannabis plant for all.  This means we lobby for everyone to be able to grow this beneficial plant within reasonable and responsible guidelines, and in a spirit of collaboration.  Domestic use requires little regulation beyond common sense.  ALL medicines are to be kept out of the reach of children and pets and responsibly administered just as with any medicine or even household substances.   Smoke responsibly i.e. away from children and non-smokers and not in public unless at a specific gathering of like minded people.

Commercially, regulation in this country will occur either via consensus by acting responsibly and being accountable with regards to quality and service provided, or enough people will act without scruples and the government will step in and regulate by law enforcement.  This would be a great pity as it is really not necessary other than for the greedy and ignorant few who are likely to spoil it for all if enough do not get together and set the standard.

CHALLENGES AND CHANGEOVER STRATEGY

DISPELLING THE STIGMA

  • The Addiction Solution

  • The Gateway to Wellbeing

  • The "Dangerous Drug" Drama - It's a PLANT

  • The “pill for every ill” Mentality has failed!

DE-SCHEDULE THE PLANT

This will take care of decriminalisation and legalisation so that we can focus on amnesty and compensation:

  • Making amendments to current law by simply removing the plant from their schedules, rather than trying to introduce complicated new laws.

  • Preventing of unscrupulous or ignorant use of the medicine by suppliers and clients by informing and training

  • protecting successful growers, suppliers and healers from prosecution by standing together legally
