MEDICINAL USE PROTOCOLS

Extensive knowledge of the extremely complex organism known as the human body, systemic function and pathology is required to understand and treat illness, and the complex molecular structure of Cannabis means that different methods and treatment protocols will work for different illnesses.  Hence, extensive knowledge of the plant is also required to produce effective medicine and treatment protocols. There is no blueprint, no generic oil which works for everything, and no magic wand to create any of these.

The S.A.C.C.R.A. executive council has developed a basic referral guide for people to ensure the best results - the red, amber, green protocol, and products can be labelled accordingly.  We also identify primary, secondary and tertiary producers of oils, tinctures and related products whom we have verified ourselves to ensure the best possible quality and service.

S.A.C.C.R.A. is committed to presenting information which has been verified by reliable sources and actual results obtained by experienced, successful Cannabis Medicine Practitioners, and to connecting them to people, doctors and traditional healers who wish to learn more about the plant and the medicine it contains.   Safe domestic extraction processes are available for a wide variety of mild and less severe breakdowns in health using infusions in coconut oil, olive oil or top quality, high proof vodka (for alcohol tolerant people) with excellent results.

MEDICINAL USE PRACTICES AND PROTOCOLS

A major factor in successful Cannabis medicine practice is the type, genetic strain and quality Cannabis used:

  • The two main sub-species of Cannabis have slightly differing molecular makeup, therefore different effects, and consequently different applications when used medicinally.

  • The different genetic strains of each main type have differing molecular makeup and therefore varying effectiveness with different ailments.

  • Individual components have different effects on various body systems and therefore also affect the medicinal applications.

  • How the medicine is produced will determine how it can be most effectively used e.g. cold pressed or decarboxylated.

  • How the medicine is applied i.e. ingestion, inhalation, insertion, topical, sub-lingual, has different effects too, as the human body synthesises the compounds involved differently via different organs.

  • Different cannabinoid molecules unlock different mechanisms via the endo-cannabinoid system.

  • Environmental factors also have an effect e.g. if fertilisers, herbicides, insecticides etc. were used in the growing, and

  • which solvents were used in production is one of the most important criteria.

Most decent Cannabis products out there will produce some desirable effects, and will stimulate the endo-cannabinoid system to some extent, but where severe breakdown is involved, it is extremely unwise to assume the oil you have access to, is going to create the results required.  S.A.C.C.R.A. recommended therapists are committed to personal consultations with clients from the red and amber protocols.  Producers and suppliers agree contractually to the S.A.C.C.R.A. protocols.  The S.A.C.C.R.A. medical council is willing to investigate any feedback from therapists and/or suppliers connected with us.

SUPPLEMENTARY PROTOCOLS

Another major factor in successful Cannabis medicine practice is the wholistic approach.  On initial consultation, each client receives comprehensive instructions for further , simple supplementary protocols which will enhance the success of their treatment dramatically.

These protocols are based on the principles of establishing sound nutrition, oxygenation, detoxification and hydration habits, as well as medication.  Clients are further supported by individual counselling to discover the root cause of the disease at a cellular memory level if they are willing.  This can lead to cathartic healing where a permanent cure takes place with the appropriate mind and lifestyle shifts.

Where there is a severe breakdown in the body, such as various cancers, complex epilepsy, MS, or neurological damage, specific and specialised knowledge of the biochemistry of the body becomes essential, so it is always wise to work with a general or specialist medical practitioner and an experienced Cannabis medicine practitioner.

It is also necessary to verify and monitor actual results via blood tests, scans. EEG's etc. There are many doctors and qualified traditional and natural healers or integrative doctors wiling to assist.

Work on establishing independent testing facilities for raw materials and medicines, as well as training facilities for oil makers, Cannabis medicine practitioners and doctors has begun, to ensure reliable, safe, effective supply avenues for people.  This will also be valuable in gathering data with regard to treatment protocols and co-creating a database of actual recorded success

Everyone is invited to contribute to the S.A.C.C.R.A. medical council's activities by sharing results/medical records/experiences - whether they are a member of S.A.C.C.R.A. or not.

The S.A.C.C.R.A. councils are committed to:

  • Informing as many people as possible on how to safely and effectively produce medicine themselves for domestic use for chronic conditions which do not require intense medical intervention.

  • Recommend verified Cannabis Medicine Practitioners, doctors and natural healers in the case of severe bodily breakdown.  This means that a S.A.C.C.R.A. executive council member or medical council member has verified as far as possible their entire process from plant to method to products.

  • Provide or recommend reliable testing facilities to all interested parties.

  • Empower people with access to the most effective medicinal grade plant genetics available.

  • Expand existing legal channels via the M.C.C. by assisting with applications, providing medicine for testing to the Dept. of Health and independent laboratories concurrently to ensure fair results;

  • And to continue lobbying for free and fair access to responsible use of the Cannabis plant for all.
